@flytyer232 my grandfather is 89 he has smoked 2 packs a day and drank a 1.5L of whisky every day since he was 17, my other grandfather never smoked or drank and died of a brain stem stroke when he was 74
@Metzgermeist He can, however it is not only his life he is taking into his own hands, second hand smoke as well a the medical bills when he gets cancer, could affect his wife’s living standard and his kids. I don’t think the gov should do anything about smoking, that it the citizens place. I merely offered some advise from my own experiences with my family to aid in HIS decision which affects his whole damn family.
I find it hard to believe that a guy that trusted you to be a reference didn’t know you’d go against him like that. How did he not know how you felt about him having guns?
You honestly are the most interesting person to listen to, whether it be about guns, or about general firearms information; or in my case since I’m a WW2 nut, about the WW2 sub-machine guns/ pistols, rifles etc. Keep up the tremendous work!
In Canada you need to take 2 courses a license to buy any firearm or ammo and a restricted license for semi auto pistols (limited to 10 round magazine( and semi auto rifles (limited to 5 rounds) only exception being a .22 semi auto. And all are registered any type of firearm.
Ted, say you bought a De Lisle Carbine with an integral suppressor what class of firearm would that be? Also, do you need a certain license to own a suppressor?
That whole sit down and talk thing with the police before you get a licence sounds much better than what we have in canada. Here all you need to be is 19 with no criminal record.

@flytyer232 He can do whatever the hell he wants.
@1278dave well with 2/3 of the us population owning guns i think we know who will win i mean obama will lose and all the republicans are pro gun
Only reason I still smoke are the smoking bans and taxes.

Gun laws, I can’t even get neighborhood kids off my front lawn LOL
how is the gun culture in New Zealand? Australia said they don’t really have a gun culture.

Smoking is terribly bad for you. It’s also nobody else’s business if you do! (damn safety do-gooding morons)
Wave your handgun in the air LMFAO! Go Kiwis!
I reckon they should introduce CASTLE doctrine, with a no retreat clause,in NZ.Would make the concept of self-defence so much more straightforward …
“Here is a line, don’t cross it”.
would you give up your fire arms willingly?
bwahahahahahaha! Good on you for smoking and drinking coffee and waving the gun around! hahahaha
people dictating what’s good for us are the biggest tyrants of all

I’m very jealous of New Zealands gun laws, I live in Australia and I hate our gun control with a passion.
